Let’s make like a chip and dip!
Riceworks make the perfect scoop for all your favorite party dishes. There’s nothing more fun than gathering friends and family for a get-together and sharing some delectable food. We’re proud to say that Riceworks are entirely Gluten-Free, and so are these recipes! Read below to find a whole range of dips to satisfy your cravings.
1. Build-Your-Own Gluten-Free Pizza Dip
This recipe has a pizza our heart because it’s customizable and a HUGE people pleaser. Spread 8oz cream cheese in a greased pan, top with pizza sauce, cheese, and oregano, and add toppings of choice! Bake for 15 mins at 400 degrees, or until bubbly and DIG IN! We paired ours with Sundried Tomato Mediterranean Herbs and Cheese Riceworks to round out the rich tomato flavor!
2. Fresh Fruit Salsa
Spring and summer bring the freshest harvest of delicious fruits! We love heading to the farmer’s market or grocery and filling our cart with them. This dip is the perfect solution to use up extra fruit you might have on hand – plus, it’s super healthy! Simply dice up your favorites (we chose peaches, strawberries, and apples), top with a bit of fresh sliced basil and serve! This salsa pairs wonderfully with the saltiness of our Sea Salt Riceworks.
3. Gluten-Free Cookie Dough Dip
It’s undeniable – cookie dough is a party starter. Sadly, it’s not very nutritious. This recipe changes that so you can snack smarter and guilt-free! Combine one can of chickpeas (yes, chickpeas!), ¾ cup dates, 2 tbs nut butter, 2 tbsp almond milk, 1 tbsp vanilla extract, 1.8 tsp almond extract, ½ cup oats (leave out if you are gluten-intolerant), ⅛ tsp baking powder, and ⅛ tsp salt in a food processor. Once totally blended, fold in as many gluten-free semi-sweet chocolate chips as you want. You’ll never go back to eating regular cookie dough again! We paired this dip with fruit and a big bowl of Sea Salt Riceworks.
4. Gluten Free Queso Dip
Drooling yet? So are we. This dip is the perfect balance of spicy and cheesy, and trust us when we say it pairs SO well with Riceworks. In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium-low, and slowly add 4 tsp corn starch (a gluten-free alternative to flour) to the pan and stir until smooth and thick. Slowly add 1 cup milk and stir until smooth and heated through. Turn heat up to medium and cook until the mixture thickens. Reduce heat to low, add 1 cup grated cheddar, ¼ tsp red pepper flakes, ½ tsp cumin, and 1 tsp chili powder. Plate and top with scallions or jalapenos, and serve with Sweet Chili or Salsa Fresca Riceworks.
